Our Story:
Save Mart of Las Cruces is the areas oldest locally owned grocery store. Established in 1977 by Bobby Stevens, Save Mart was formally known as Food Mart until it moved to its new location just south of the original store on Valley Drive in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
After Bobby passed away in 1998 his wife, Lila, two sons, Mike and Jeff, daughter Lisa Silva and her husband Jerry Silva decided to carry on his legacy and build a new store which was opened in June of 2000.
Bobby had a simple philosophy: sell affordable grocery, produce, dairy and meat at low prices and provide old-fashioned customer service. We subscribe to that philosophy to this day.
